Overview
The Hood River Valley farms offer a vibrant celebration of Pacific Northwest agriculture surrounded by stunning mountain views. A tapestry of orchards overflowing with apples, pears, cherries, peaches, berries and lavender stretches from Mt. Hood to the Columbia River. Visitors enjoy u‑pick fruit stands, artisanal tastings and farm fresh treats – great for photo ops and a taste of local flavor.
General info-
- Children under 18 years of age must have an adult with them. We ask that you ensure the safety of your children by always keeping them close to you.
- Smaller vehicles do not have ADA accessibility, but the 56-passenger bus can accommodate up to 2 wheelchairs. Other buses have kneeling features to make boarding easier.
- We can accommodate large groups. Please contact us if you have more than 50 in your group so we can select additional bus options for your group.
Itinerary
Pickup locations (Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure a prompt departure)-
Vancouver Mall (7:00 am): Meet the bus on the south side of Vancouver Mall near Hobby Lobby (not too close to the store entrance). The address is 8700 NE Vancouver Mall Drive in Vancouver, WA.
Columbia Gorge Outlets (7:45 am): Meet us near Starbucks at the Columbia Gorge Outlets (not too close to Starbuck’s entrance). The address is 450 NW 257 th Way in Troutdale, OR.
Our first stop is this third-generation family farm. Enjoy breathtaking views from their rustic farm stand and explore the U-Pick orchards for fresh cherries, pears, peaches, and apples. Don’t forget to try their famous
handcrafted cider!
This is a true gem, famous for its biodynamically grown apples and beautiful scenery. This family-owned orchard
offers a fantastic farm stand with fresh produce, baked goods, and other local goodies, all with stunning views of the surrounding valley.
We’ll take a stop here for a relaxed lunch, as their food cart offers a delicious selection of food and a beautiful setting. Guests can also enjoy the U- Pick fields and a variety of flowers. The tasting room is available for adults who wish to enjoy some local cider or wine.
After lunch, we’ll visit The Fruit Company’s factory, gift shop, and museum. Learn about the rich history of fruit growing in the region and browse a wide variety of local products, from fresh fruit to delicious preserves and treats.
Our final stop is Packer Orchards & Bakery, a family-friendly favorite. Guests can enjoy fresh fruit, delicious homemade baked goods, and milkshakes. It’s an ideal spot for a sweet treat before heading back.

- Gratuities: If you enjoy the tour and would like to tip your guide, a 20% gratuity is suggested.
- Please Note: While your tour includes comfortable transportation and expert guiding, guests are responsible for the cost of all food, beverages, wine tastings, and any admission or entrance fees at our stops. This allows you the flexibility to choose exactly what delights your palate and captures your interest.
If travelling in a group-
- Sprinter Van: For a minimum of 14 passengers, we will send a Sprinter Van.
- 30 Passenger Bus: We also offer a 30-passenger bus for group of people upto 30.
- 56 Passenger Bus: The most cost-effective option is a fully filled 56-passenger bus.
- For larger parties of 30 or more guests, we are happy to explore special arrangements. If you are coordinating a large group outing, please contact our team directly to discuss how we can best accommodate your needs, including the possibility of a special group rate.

Tour Flexibility: We design each itinerary to be as perfect as possible. However, on rare occasions, unforeseen circumstances such as road closures or weather may require us to adjust our route. In these events, our experienced guides will always work to provide a comparable and equally exceptional experience for you.
A Respectful & Shared Experience: We’re all here to have a great time! To ensure a positive atmosphere for all guests, we ask that you respect our staff, fellow travelers, and the places we visit. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and we appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe and enjoyable trip for everyone.
Lost or Damaged Items: Please keep track of your personal belongings. We recommend always keeping
valuables with you, as NW Bus Tours is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
Our Cancellation Policy: We offer tour credit for any cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance of your tour. This credit can be applied toward a future tour of your choice, allowing you the flexibility to reschedule. We are unable to provide credit for last-minute cancellations or for guests who do not arrive for the tour at the scheduled pick-up time.
Sharing Your Tour Memories: We love capturing the magic of our tours! By joining, you are consenting to the
use of your image in our promotional materials. If you would prefer not to be included, please let us know in writing.
